Columbus police identify victim in city's 100th homicide of 2018

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Columbus police are investigating the city's 100th homicide of 2018.

Police said officers responded to a report of a shooting in northeast Columbus at a complex on Great Woods Boulevard near Timber Ridge Court around 8:10 p.m. Tuesday.

Clinton Township Fire medics pronounced the person dead at the scene a little more than 10 minutes later. That victim has since been identified as 28-year-old Taylor Brock.

Police said they do not have suspect information to release but they are investigating several possible motives.
