Cleveland police cancel Amber Alert for 1-month-old after baby dropped off at hospital

CLEVELAND, Ohio - An Amber Alert issued for a 1-month-old girl missing from Cleveland has been canceled, police said.

Cleveland police said the child’s father broke into the mother’s house through a window, beat her, and took 1-month-old Raniyah May.

This happened around 12:45 p.m. Thursday in the 3100 block of Central Avenue in Cleveland.

The father is 28-year-old Ronald Davis. He is 5-feet 10-inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with white stripes, grey sweatpants, and black and orange shoes.

He was seen driving a 2010 Chevrolet Malibu with Ohio license plate of HKY3562.

Police said the baby was dropped off at University Hospital in Cleveland by a family member. The father and the vehicle have not been found.
