Chance for a rain, snow mix late this week

Get ready for a wild swing in temperatures this week! We’re starting out the week as warm as it’s going to get and it’ll feel like late November by the end of the work week and mid-December by the weekend.

A storm system will move through Monday night and Tuesday bringing showers and possibly a few storms. We’ll get a chance to dry out during the second half of Election Day but winds will be howling.

Even though things will calm down by the end of the week it’s going to be much cooler.

The next system that arrives as we start the weekend will bring the threat for more rain and even a rain/snow mix.

Doppler 10 Meteorologist Jeff Booth is tracking this week’s changes and explains why the winds will be so strong and why the temperatures will drop so drastically in this week’s “Talking Weather”.
