Deputy Superintendent Mike Trego said the organization took immediate action upon learning of the allegations.

“Protecting students is our top priority, so everyone in our organization is sickened by the alleged actions of [the teacher],” Trego said. “As soon as we learned of this, we took immediate action to remove her from access to any students and we’re cooperating with law enforcement to ensure that justice is done.”

10TV is not naming the teacher as no charges have been filed at this time.
