Central Ohio man accused of engaging in inappropriate sexual behavior with 4 juveniles

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A man who was charged by Westerville police in July with gross sexual imposition involving a minor has now been indicted by the Franklin County Grand Jury.

Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O'Brien said Monday that 34-year-old David Kerscher is accused of engaging in inappropriate sexual behavior with four juveniles between March 2016 and July 2019.

Kerscher was indicted on three counts of Pandering Sexually-Oriented Matter Involving a Minor, one count of Gross Sexual Imposition and four counts of Disseminating Matter Harmful To Juveniles.

The Westerville Police Department investigated the case, according to O'Brien.

In July, police said Kerscher allegedly touched a 13-year-old boy inappropriately at the child’s home. Police seized Kerscher’s home computer and say he admitted to inappropriate contact with several other teenage boys.
