Carl's Jr. will become the 1st major fast-food chain to debut a cannabis-infused burger

Carl’s Jr. will be testing a new kind of burger for one day only on 4/20.

At just one location in Denver, the chain will be debuting the CheeseBurger Delight, a burger with hemp-based CBD oil infused into its signature Santa Fe sauce.

The creation also includes two beef patties, pepper jack cheese, Crisscut fries and pickled jalapenos.

“From our early introduction into plant-based options to bringing the rare indulgence of truffles to our menu with the new Bacon Truffle Angus Burger*, our customers have come to expect innovative and unique menu offerings, and we’re thrilled to be the first quick service restaurant to be testing CBD infused options,” said Patty Trevino, Senior Vice President, Brand Marketing at Carl’s Jr.

The burger will only be available for one day or until supplies last and will cost $4.20.
