Linebacker Jerome Baker has announced he will be leaving the Buckeyes for the NFL.

In a post on Monday, Baker said he has decided to forgo his senior year and enter this year's draft.

"The last three years have changed by life forever," Baker said. "I had a chance to grow as an athlete, a scholar and a man."

He closed by saying he hopes he had as big of an impact on the program as it had on him.

"It has been a pleasure playing for the best fans in the nation. I hope to have your support throughout the next phase of life."

Baker joins cornerback Denzel Ward and defensive end Sam Hubbard, who announced they would be entering the draft last week.
