The big news out of Omaha this weekend was the Buckeyes winning the Big Ten Tournament and earning a spot in NCAA Tournament.

But it’s something the team did for a fan that’s getting a big reaction.

During a Big Ten Tournament game between Ohio State and Minnesota, one young Buckeyes fan thought he was about to get his very own foul ball when an adult Iowa fan swooped in to swipe the ball for himself.

After the game, Ohio State’s baseball team gave the young fan a ball that was signed by every player on the team.

Ohio State will begin NCAA Tournament play in the Nashville Regional along with Vanderbilt, Indiana State and McNeese. The Buckeyes will open regional play on Friday at 7 p.m.
