Bond Set For Accused Parking Garage Gunman


 A man accused of shooting another man inside a campus-area parking garage was ordered held under $250,000 bond on Tuesday.

Ricardo Conley, 27, faces one count of felonious assault after police said he shot Nevin Cousin Jr. inside the South Campus Gateway garage early Sunday, 10TV's Patrick Bell reported.

According to police, Cousin and a friend of Conley's got into a fight on the third floor of the garage. Investigators said Conley then shot Cousin in the throat.

Cousin, 25, was taken to the hospital. He remained in critical condition Tuesday afternoon, 10TV News reported.

Detectives asked for the high bond for Conley because they said Cousin is not expected to recover from his wounds, Bell reported.

Conley will be in court again on April 10.
