On Monday, the sheriff’s office identified the man as 40-year-old Damon Farmer.

The sheriff’s office said detectives believe Farmer jumped from the Greenlawn Avenue bridge on May 27.

Witnesses reported seeing a man matching his description jump from the bridge. Columbus police and fire crews searched the water at the time but did not locate the body.

The sheriff’s office said foul play is not suspected. The official cause of death is pending a review by the Franklin County Coroner’s Office.
