COLUMBUS — Columbus police have arrested an alleged serial fraud offender and another man on charges of counterfeiting and identity fraud.

DeWayne Foster is alleged to have attempted to open a Kemba Financial Credit Union account for a loan of $15,000 under a fake name, according to police.

Investigators say the bank employee believed the documents provided for the loan were fake and contacted police. Upon further investigation, police say it was determined the documents provided were forged by a woman named Jameilla Kibby.

Police say Kibby is a serial offender who continued to commit fraud and they are putting the warning out to other vehicle dealerships to be on the lookout.

Kibby and Foster have been arrested by Columbus police and are facing charges of counterfeiting and identify fraud respectively.
