Arrest made in Worthington child enticement investigation

After two reports of child enticement attempts in Worthington, police made an arrest Monday night.

Investigators said the suspect was trying to make contact with a child on Monday. A witness recognized the suspicious activity and called the police.

Police are not releasing any additional information about the arrest at this time. The investigation into this incident and other suspected incidents are still active, according to police.

The first reported incident took place in July. The most recent was on East North Street Sunday around 4 p.m. Both involved 9-year-old girls.
