Richard Solomon joined 10TV in December 2020 as a multi-skilled journalist.
Richard was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. That's where he fell in love with journalism at Ben Davis High School. There, he played several sports, but his passion is baseball (favorite team = Boston Red Sox).

After he graduated high school in 2014, he attended Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana, where he studied journalism and worked for ESPN 3.
Richard's first job in the business was right up the street from his college at WTHI-TV News 10. In the 3 years he spent there, he learned how to report, anchor and produce.
Another thing Richard loves is Ohio State football. His father graduated from THE Ohio State University and ran track in the 80s. Safe to say, he was a Buckeye before he knew what one was!
In his spare time, Richard loves exploring Columbus and all it has to offer.
