94-year-old man missing from east Columbus has been found safe

UPDATE(1:30 a.m.): Columbus Police say Frantz had been admitted to a local hospital and his family was not aware.

He has been found safe.

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Columbus police are searching for a missing man who they consider to be high risk.

Police said 94-year-old George Frantz was last seen at his home near Cherry Hill Drive and McNaughten Road in east Columbus on Wednesday morning.

Police said his wallet and phone were left at the home, but his car was missing.

His car is described as 2017 black Chevy Cruze with an Ohio license plate of BSF2.

Police said he is hard of hearing and has been ill from treatments for skin cancer.

Frantz is described as 5-feet 6-inches tall, weighs approximately 110 pounds and has gray hair and blue eyes.
