The fire department says the building was older and made it more difficult to fight the fire.

Crews were able to put out the fire in about 45 minutes.

No one was home in the upstairs apartment at the time of the fire. There were people home in the downstairs unit but were able to get out of the building with no injuries, according to the fire department.

The fire department says no one was taken to the hospital as a result of this fire.

Seven people — two juveniles and five adults — are getting help from the Red Cross.
