2 teens dead after apparent murder-suicide in southeast Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Two people are dead after a report of a shooting in southeast Columbus Friday night, according to police.

Columbus police said officers responded to the 4000 block of Raft Lane after 10:30 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found two unresponsive victims in an upstairs bedroom suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

CPD says initial investigation reveals that the suspect and victim had been involved in a relationship.

Police say the scene evidence indicates that the suspect, later identified as Loren F.T. Williamson, shot and killed the victim, Veronica Madison Lee, before taking his own life. They were both 19.

This case is still under investigation.
