2 suspects sought after Family Dollar robbed at gunpoint in east Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Police are looking for two suspects wanted for an aggravated robbery in east Columbus Saturday evening.

According to police, the two suspects walked in to the Family Dollar on East 5th Avenue around 7:30 p.m.

The suspects pulled out handguns, threatened to shoot the employees and demanded money.

Employees gave the suspects money out the cash register and the suspects left in a plain, white panel van.

The first suspect is described as a black male with a scruffy goatee and around 30 years old. He is 6 feet tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a letterman jacket with a gray hoodie inside, a black knit hat, black pants and white shoes.

The second suspect is a black male, 6 feet tall and weighs about 240 pounds and around 30 years old. He was last seen wearing a gray and black puffy coat, a black hat with flaps, gray or white pants and black shoes.
