2 injured after 2-vehicle crash in north Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus police say one person was critically injured and a second person is in stable condition after a two-vehicle crash that happened Tuesday on the city's north side.

According to police, the crash happened in the area of Cleveland and East 23rd Avenue. The call came in just after 3:45 p.m.

One person was taken to Ohio State Wexner Medical Center and listed in critical condition. That person's condition is now listed as serious.

A second person was taken to Grant Medical Center in stable condition.

Police say Cleveland Avenue was shut down between East 17th and East 23rd Avenue but the area has since reopened.
