2 brothers injured after shooting in west Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Columbus Division of Police says two brothers are injured after a shooting in west Columbus.

The shooting happened Sunday just before 12:30 a.m. in the 300 block of South Central Avenue.

When officers arrived they found one man suffering from a gunshot wound to the right leg and the other man with a gunshot wound to the stomach. Authorities said brothers, later identified as Jason Boggs, 31 and Mark Spurlock, 34, were taken to Grant Medical Center and are expected to be OK.

According to the investigation, a road rage incident occurred and the suspects got out of a maroon car and began to fight with the victims. One of the suspects produced a gun and shot the victims.
