19-year-old killed in northeast Columbus shooting


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Police are investigating a shooting that killed a 19-year-old man and injured another man.

According to police, officer were called to the 2000 block of Yorkhull Lane shortly before 2 p.m. Sunday.

When officers arrived, they found 19-year-old Miles Tolliver suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital in “extremely critical condition.”

Tolliver did not survive his injuries was pronounced dead shortly after 2:30 p.m.

Another man was injured in the shooting and was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital in stable condition.

Police say the two victims were riding in a vehicle together when shots were fired at their vehicle from unknown suspects.

The shooting remains under investigation.
