150 Motorcyclists Expected To Participate In Marion Poker Run To Raise Money For Pediatric Cancer


More than 150 motorcyclists are expected to head to Marion County on Saturday for the Friends of Chapel Hill House Poker Run.

The ninth year for the event, it is used  to help fund and serve central Ohio families battling pediatric cancer, according to the President of the Chapel Hill House board Jason Joseph.

“The poker run is one of the most important events of the year for Chapel Hill House and provides a significant portion of the funding we need to serve central Ohio families battling pediatric cancer,” Joseph said.

More than 150 bikes and 175 riders were a part of the Poker Run in 2012.

Bikes will arrive at Chapel Hill House at 11:30 a.m. and a new shelter house will be dedicated. Riders will meet at the American Legion in Prospect for live music, dinner and a live silent auction.

Chapel Hill House is located at 3892 Morral-Kirkpatrick Road West, Morral, Ohio, about 45 minutes north of Columbus.
