11 people displaced after house fire in Lancaster

LANCASTER, Ohio - Eleven people have been displaced from a home in Lancaster after an early morning fire on Saturday, according to the fire department.

Firefighters were called to the home in the 200 block of Perry Street around 4:15 a.m. because the back of the house was on fire.

The fire department said no one was hurt.

The Red Cross was called to assist seven adults and four children, according to the Lancaster fire department.

Investigators said there were no working smoke detectors in the home.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
