Warmer temperatures are expected to cause substantial melting of the snow pack over the forecast area. The melting snow will result in enough runoff to cause small streams to swell tonight and Thursday. Periods of rain starting Thursday night into Sunday will add to the runoff and increase the risk of flooding for streams.
Widespread rainfall Friday into Saturday will increase the chances of flooding along the Muskingum and Tuscarawas rivers and their tributaries.
