Wells, a junior, was not tackled but immediately fumbled the football and fell to the ground during a carry.

Tressel said that the football athletic trainers said that Tuesday morning that Wells would be doubtful for Saturday's game but saw Wells at about 10:30 a.m. and the running back said he was fine.
