A new study by msn.com shows both Mansfield and Springfield with steady employment opportunities
toward the end of last year.
Springfield city leaders say with the unemployment rate dropping, they see new jobs being
created.
Right now, 300 construction workers are building a $300 million Springfield Regional Medical Facility.
Springfield Economic Developer Tom Franzen says it will employ 3,000 people when it's completed in two years.
"In Springfield, we really don't suffer from the 'low' lows . We don't celebrate the 'high' highs. We just run middle of the stream whether it be the housing market or development in general," said Franzen.
One Ohio city made it on msn.com's list of the fifteen worst cities for jobs. That was Lima in the northwest part of the state.
