Authorities Search Previous House Of Accused Killer

FBI officials confirmed Wednesday afternoon that they are searching the back yard of a home where Anthony Sowell used to live.

Sowell, 50, has been charged with 11 counts of aggravated murder as well as several other charges as part of an 85-count indictment.

The home being search is located on Page Avenue. Sowell lived in the home in the late 1980s.

In a 10-month period 1988 to 1989, the bodies of three women were found in abandoned buildings just blocks from this home.

Sowell's trial could start between six months and a year from now. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.
