For her parent's Dottie and Mike, it's music to their ears.
"She's such a happy kid," said mother Dottie Collura.
Dottie knew at six months something wasn't quite right about her little girl.
"We noticed that she wasn't hitting the milestones that her older brother had at that point," said Dottie.
At 18 months, their fears were confirmed.
"Basically she has missing DNA and extra DNA on her 18th chromosome," said Dottie.
At the young age of six, Reagan is actually much younger developmentally.
She's still in diapers, she can hardly speak, and baby food was the norm until just about a year ago.
It's a lifestyle this family has grown accustomed to and through it all, they find a way to stay positive.
"We have the opportunity to make people aware that there are great little kids out there that suffer from something like this, not from their own choosing and not by any mistakes anybody made, but it just happened," said father Mike Collura.
"When you see the smile on her face, its hard not to be positive," said Dottie.
It's a smile that comes often when big brother Gabriel is around.
"We play like everyday," said Gabriel.
But playing is just the beginning, Gabriel is much more than a big brother.
"Gabriel has really taken on a parent roll. We really have to have a lot of eyes and ears on her constantly to keep her safe," said Dottie.
The job of keeping Reagan safe may become a little bit easier. The family will soon get a service dog, a helpful tool that will cost $13,000. They've been accepted through the organization 4 Paws For Ability.
A fundraiser has been scheduled for Friday.
"She didn't ask for this misery in her life, but she deals with it like a champ," said Mike.
A champ who is, as of now, healthy. A champ that somehow always keeps a smile on her face and love in her heart.
The family is holding a fundraiser to help pay for the new service dog.
Reagan's Ride will be take place Friday, November 13 from 6 - 9 p.m. Free carousel rides will be offered, plus raffles and auctions will be taking place.
Donations will be accepted. If you want to help, you can mail a donation to 4 Paws For Ability at 253 Dayton Avenue, Xenia, Ohio 45385. The organization is a non-profit agency.
The family also has an account set up through FirstMerit Bank.
