CLEVELAND — The state of Ohio has 212 confirmed H1N1 cases (formally known as swine flu). So far two people have died in the state because of the virus.

Cuyahoga County has the most reported cases of H1N1 of any place in the state.

The Cleveland Clinic is one hospital preparing for more of an outbreak as children head back to school.

"We saw a bit of it during the spring - going to come through again and it's going to come back again during the flu season," said Dr. Tom Tallman who works in the Clinic Emergency Room.

Tallman said even though Cuyahoga County has had the most reported cases of the H1N1, it is not the last of it.

"(The beginning of school) brings people back together. Human to human transmission was a piece of cake for this virus," said Tallman.

To get ready, the Cleveland Clinic is purchasing protective gear like gowns and masks for medical staff which comes with a large price tag. ONN's Jennifer Dugan was told the number was under $1 million, but not by much.

A federal advisory committee recommends the first round of vaccinations go to pregnant women, children, and adults with medical conditions.

They also recommend health care workers are a priority after a Columbus emergency room employee tested positive.
