Man Indicted in Toddler Death

Authorities in Cleveland say Demetrius Jones, age 20, was
babysitting his girlfriend's two sons at their apartment back on March 24, 2009 in
Mayfield Heights when they say Jones called his girlfriend at work at told her 1-year old Caleb
Gulley wasn't breathing.
The mother called 911 while Jones took the victim to Hillcrest
Hospital.
After arriving at Hillcrest, the victim was transported by Life
Flight to the Cleveland Clinic where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities say the victim suffered internal bleeding due to two
lacerations of the liver, which were caused by blunt force trauma to the abdomen, and the victim
suffered fractured ribs.
The coroner ruled the victim's death a homicide.
