The Ohio State Fair starts on Wednesday, but the annual butter cow and calf were unveiled ahead of the opening ceremonies, 10TV News reported.
In addition to the traditional cow and calf, the new sculpture for 2010 is a tribute to Ohio's professional football teams, the Cleveland Browns and the Cincinnati Bengals.

The sculpture also features an anti-obesity initiative between the NFL and the Dairy Association to encourage children to "Play 60" and get at least one hour of physical activity each day.
More than 2,000 pounds of butter were used in the sculpture, which took nearly 400 hours to complete, 10TV News reported.
The butter sculptures will be on display at the Dairy Products Building on the Ohio State Fairgrounds for the duration of the fair.
