COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Mid-Ohio Foodbank on Tuesday kicked off its Operation Feed campaign, in an effort to feed more hungry people.

Volunteers at the Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church's food pantry, on the city's east side, boxed up food to donate, 10TV's Karina Nova reported.

Pantry Director Sylvia Love said more people are asking for their help.

"More than doubled," Love said. "We started out doing 75 to 80 boxes and at any given time about 148 clients will come through."

The goal this year is to collect enough food for 6 million meals, Nova reported.
