Alleged Powell Drugstore Robber Arrested

POWELL, Ohio — A man who allegedly robbed a pharmacy Monday morning, demanding prescription painkillers, was arrested Tuesday.

The Delaware County Sheriff's office arrested Charles R. Bauslaugh, on Tuesday afternoon, 10TV News reported.

Bauslaugh, 24, was arrested at his home on Slack Road in Delaware, a sheriff's office news release said.

Bauslaugh was charged with aggravated robbery for allegedly demanding drugs from a CVS Pharmacy, 3488 Seldom Seen Road, on Monday, 10TV News reported.

He handed a pharmacist a note claiming he had a gun and demanded prescription narcotics, including Oxycontin, the news release said.

After the robbery, Bauslaugh fled on foot wearing a sweatshirt that said "Legendary' on the front, the news release said.

The sheriff's office recovered some of the stolen drugs, the news release said.

Bauslaugh was being held in the Delaware County Jail.
