SOUTH BLOOMFIELD, Ohio — Residents here have been put on alert after a rash of break-ins, 10TV's Glenn McEntyre reported
Saturday.
Police said the thieves have targeted eight homes within the past week in the Bloomfield Hills neighborhood. Two of those attempts were successful, McEntyre reported.
The thieves were using windows as their point of entry into the homes.
"It's shocking," resident Eric Josephson said. "I mean, you would think someone would try that when no one's home. But both cars were outside. They knew someone was home."
South Bloomfield police have warned residents to be careful. They have also increased patrols in the Bloomfield Hills neighborhood.
