Ashley Baldwin was arrested without incident Wednesday night at her parents' home, 10TV's Kevin Landers reported.
She faces murder charges stemming from the death of James Davis, 47, who was found shot to death early Wednesday morning inside an SUV that was parked near an apartment complex on Tamarack Boulevard.
The case unfolded early Tuesday morning when Baldwin, 20, told police that her husband had been shot. She said she thought the shooting was the result of a drug deal gone wrong, Landers reported.

"He was shot in the head and they tried to shoot me and I ran," Baldwin told a 911 dispatcher.
Officers investigated Baldwin's story, but she did not remember where the shooting occurred and she could not lead them to the body.
After searching for several hours, officers dropped Baldwin off at a relative's house.
Then, early Wednesday morning, a person spotted Davis' body slumped over inside an SUV located several blocks away from where police searched the day before.
According to Davis' friends, he and Baldwin were dating but were not married. Friends also said the pair had a tumultuous relationship, Landers reported.
Baldwin was hospitalized Thursday morning for what police called a preexisting condition.
Police said the condition was medical in nature and not related to drugs or alcohol.
She was expected to be placed in custody at the Franklin County Jail later in the day.
