Friday,  November 6, 2009 6:06 AM

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Members of the Ohio National Guard stationed at Fort Hood were not injured in Thursday's rampage, a Guard spokesman said.

The spokesman said phone calls were made to each of the 16 Guard members after the shooting.

All were safe and unharmed.

The sprawling Texas base is used as training center for troops from across the country.

On Thursday, 13 people were killed and 30 wounded when a gunman opened fire at the base.

The suspected gunman, Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, was alive and on a ventilator after being shot four times by police.
