Meanwhile, clergy in Cleveland on Thursday called on the families of missing people to provide DNA samples that may help the coroner's office identify the remains of 10 people found in a home.
About two dozen pastors rallied at Providence Baptist Church on Thursday as authorities worked to identify the remains of 10 bodies found at the home of suspected serial killer Anthony Sowell.
The pastors claim 22 others are still missing in the community and, so far, only six families have provided DNA samples.
Police Chief Michael McGrath said after the rally that police plan to go back into Sowell's house.
The remains of 11 people have been found at the home of Sowell, 50, and so far only one victim has been identified.
Carmichael, 52, of Warrensville Heights is the first victim to be identified.
Carmichael was reported missing last November.
Sowell is charged with five counts of aggravated murder.
In addition, he faces charges of rape, felonious assault and kidnapping for an alleged Sept. 22 attack on a woman at his home.
He was ordered to be held in jail without bond during his first court appearance on Wednesday.
Assistant Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Brian Murphy called Sowell "an incredibly dangerous threat to the public" and said Sowell could face the death penalty if convicted of the charges.
