GROVE CITY, Ohio — After multiple times on the ballot before, cuts to sports and extracurricular programs, Tuesday's South-Western City Schools levy was still too close to call, 10TV News reported.

With 99 precincts counted, the vote was 51 percent in support of the levy and 49 percent opposed.

Voters in the South-Western district have shot down four previous levy proposals.

SLIDESHOW: Residents Spar Over Issue 47

On Monday, supporters and opponents of Issue 47 continued to spar over the levy, prompting police to be called at one point, 10TV's Brittany Westbrook reported.

Opponents of the levy are mostly concerned with district management and increasing taxes.  Some went so far Monday as to cut down green ribbons that had been put up around Grove City in support of Issue 47.

Other central Ohio school districts on the ballot included Westerville, Worthington and Reynoldsburg.

Westerville and Worthington both passed their levies Reynoldsburg did not.
