COLUMBUS, Ohio — The personnel file belonging to a Reynoldsburg police officer accused of pulling a gun on an exotic dancer paints a very different picture of the man charged with a crime.

In three years with the department, Officer Donald Frick has racked up numerous commendations, 10TV's Glenn McEntyre reported.

His personnel file is peppered with words of praise, including comments that mention his "professionalism and kindness" and describe him as "courteous and efficient."

During Frick's arraignment on Monday, a court narrative described a different side of the officer.

According to the narrative, Frick, 26, pointed a silver revolver at the dancer's head and threatened to pull the trigger if she did not return his money.

The dancer, who asked not to be identified, said Frick hired her to dance at his home early Saturday morning.  She said that when she arrived at Frick's home, the officer asked to kiss her. When she told Frick she does not have sex with clients, she claimed he became angry.

"He was like, 'What you don't have sex? I want my money back,'" the woman said.  "I said, 'That's no problem.' He was like, 'Well, you're not going to leave.'"

Frick, who was released from custody after posting bond on Monday night, refused to comment as he left the jail.

Frick's attorney said in court that the officer disputed the woman's version of the story.

Frick has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the case.
