Bond was set Monday at $75,000 for Officer Donald Frick.
Frick, 26, was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery on Saturday, 10TV's Cara Connelly reported.
A woman, who asked not to be identified, said she was hired by Frick to perform at his home.
She said that when she arrived at Frick's home, the officer asked to kiss her. When she told Frick she does not have sex with clients, she claimed he became angry.
"He was like, 'What you don't have sex? I want my money back,'" the woman said. "I said, 'That's no problem.' He was like, 'Well, you're not going to leave.'"
The woman said she called her security guards who were waiting in the car outside. Then, she said, Frick threatened her at gunpoint.
"He went over to the dresser, he pulled out the gun and pointed it at me and he said, 'You need to tell your people to back off. I want my money. Your brains are going to go everywhere,'" the woman said.
The alleged victim says Frick aimed his gun at her security guards, and she was able to escape through the front door.
The woman and her security guards called police from their vehicle.
Frick was placed on administrative leave pending a criminal and internal investigation.
In court on Monday, Frick's attorney, Sam Shamansky said his client has a different version of events.
Shamansky described the officer as a military veteran with lots of family in central Ohio. He also gave a preview of Fricks' defense.
"Obviously there is going to be a dispute over this factual issue of armed robbery," Shamansky said.
Bond was posted on Frick's behalf at about 4 p.m. Monday, Connelly reported.
When Frick does leave the jail, the judge put some restrictions on him, including that he not leave his home after dark.
