Cedric B. Carter, of Shawnee Hills, was arrested Saturday and remained in the Delaware County Jail on Monday, Connelly reported.

Carter, 52, faces six counts of pandering sexually-oriented material, 15 counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance and one count of voyeurism.

10TV News obtained the indictment which accuses Carter of more than 20 child pornography counts relating to incidents from last September through April of this year.

Sources told 10TV News some of his victims may have been children from outside the U.S., but at least one victim is believed to be a Delaware teen, Connelly reported.

Investigators said Carter lived a quiet life in Shawnee Hills and has had no run-ins with the law until he was indicted.

Shawnee Hills police are leading the investigation.

Neither Shawnee Hills police, nor the Delaware County Sheriff's office, which is assisting in the investigation, would comment on whether additional charges will be filed.

So far no court date has been set for Carter.

Authorities are still waiting for him to get a lawyer before scheduling his first court appearance.
