Police Dog Recovering After Being Shot

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Bosco, the Zanesville police dog who was wounded in the line of duty, appeared live on 10TV News HD on Thursday evening.

The Dutch Shepherd was shot and wounded while he and his human partner, Officer Mike Schiele, attempted to serve a warrant in August.

Schiele was also injured, suffering a gunshot wound to the leg.

Bosco was briefly paralyzed but, during the interview with 10TV's Kurt Ludlow, was standing on all four of his legs.

Bosco has been undergoing treatment and rehabilitation at The Ohio State University Veterinariany Hospital since being wounded.
