$5K Now Offered In Man's Disappearance

ASHVILLE, Ohio — Authorities announced Tuesday that an increased  reward of up to $5,000 was being offered for information about a man who vanished after his home caught fire last month.

David C. Morse has been missing since his Perrill Road home burned down on July 22.

Morse, 54, lived in the house with his dog.  Investigators said that the dog's remains were found in the ashes of the home, but Morse was not located.

Investigators said that Morse was in poor health, did not drive and needed assistance to walk any significant distance.  They suspect foul play in his disappearance.
