Reward Offered In Fire, Man's Disappearance

ASHVILLE, Ohio — The Pickaway County Sheriff's Office and Central Ohio Crime Stoppers on Tuesday announced a $2,000 reward in hopes of solving a man's disappearance.

A fire occurred at a Perrill Road home on Wednesday.  Once firefighters responded to the home, they discovered it was destroyed with only the chimney intact.

David C. Morse lived in the house with his dog.  Investigators said that the dog's remains were found in the ashes of the home, but Morse was not located.

According to investigators, Morse, 54, was in poor health, did not drive and needed assistance to walk any significant distance.  They suspect foul play in his disappearance.
