Adam Buckner was indicted late last week on a gross sexual imposition charge, 10TV's Angela An reported.

"I didn't do it," Buckner said.  "As God is my witness, I can tell you that I did not do what she said."

According to police, a 5-year-old friend of Buckner's daughter claimed the touching occurred during a July sleepover.  DNA evidence that was sent back to the Ohio Attorney General's Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and an outside laboratory returned, leading to the indictment.

Buckner, who has been at the London Correctional Facility since 2007, said the charge is a misunderstanding.

He said that there has been retaliation to his car and his family since the allegations were first made.

"I pray for the girl's family," Buckner said.

10TV News attempted to contact the alleged victim's family but did not receive a response.

Buckner is scheduled for arraignment in May. 

He was placed on paid administrative leave from the London Correctional Facility.
