Since January 2007, more than two-dozen fires in South Columbus have been purposefully set, including four in the last seven days, 10TV's Tino Ramos reported on Thursday.
Earlier this week, authorities announced that three people have been charged in connection with setting fires. Investigators believe that William Parsley, 33, may be behind several arsons, but has only been charged in connection with one fire in January, 10TV News reported.

In addition to Parsley, two juveniles have also been arrested and charged with aggravated arson.
Despite those apprehensions, authorities said they believed that more arrests and charges would be filed in connection with the string of fires. They also said that a gang, called the Blue Aces, may be tied to some of the arsons, Ramos reported.
On Thursday, investigators released surveillance video showing three men leaving an area where a fire was intentionally set, Ramos reported.
Authorities hope that someone will see the video and recognize the men.
In the meantime, south side residents said they were not sure who was responsible for the fires, or why arsons were occurring.
"You wonder if people just have gotten so desperate economically that they have a property they can't rent," said resident Dan Bayes. "They can't sell it so they burn it."
