COLUMBUS, Ohio — A vehicle sought in connection with a Dayton-area slaying may have been found Sunday at a flea market on the city's west side, 10TV News reported.

The car was found at the Westland Flea Market parking lot, located on West Broad Street, deputies said.

The car matched the description of a vehicle that was stolen from a home near Dayton where a woman was found shot to death earlier this weekend, 10TV News reported.

No other information was immediately released by deputies.

On Friday night, a couple traveling to Maryland called 911 after finding William Nelson, 4, alone at a rest stop along Interstate 70 near the Madison-Union County line. Nelson told authorities that he was taken and left at the rest stop by a man who forced his way into his home and shot his mother.

The boy told investigators his address and they later found his mother, Jenny Nelson, 29, shot to death inside her Harrison Township home, 10TV News reported.

William Nelson was placed in the custody of his father, deputies said.

Earlier this weekend, investigators said they were searching for an Oldsmobile Alero with Ohio license plate number AJI-3VF in connection with the case. The car was apparently stolen by the man who took William Nelson from his home.

The vehicle was last seen traveling eastbound on Interstate 70.
