Becky Jo Tatum, 41, was arrested Thursday morning at the Kensington Commons apartment complex, located at Gender and Refugee roads, 10TV's Kurt Ludlow reported.

Police said a phone call from an anonymous source led them to the southeast Columbus complex.

Detectives spotted the car that Tatum was said to have been driving and waited for her, Ludlow reported.

"We observed her coming out of the apartment and into her car," said Bexley police Det. Bob Cuschleg. "We kind of took her by surprise. She didn't see us approach, so she was a little dazed."

Police issued a warrant for Tatum's arrest earlier this week after the allegations surfaced in a search warrant, 10TV News reported.
 
The warrant revealed that the 14-year-old girl was at Tatum's home earlier this month when the alleged sexual conduct occurred. The teenager said that she "had been drinking and had a buzz" prior to the incident, according to the warrant.

"I love my children very much," Tatum said as she was led into the Franklin County Jail. "Talk to my attorneys about anything further."

Tatum was taken into custody the day after Central Ohio Crimestoppers offered a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to her arrest.
