Columbus, Franklin County Expand Eligibility For H1N1 Vaccine

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus and Franklin County health departments announced Thursday they will expand H1N1 vaccination availability to some adults, 10TV News reported.

All community clinics will now offer the vaccine to adults age 19 through 24 and to those age 25 through 64 with underlying medical conditions.

Those groups are in addition to children, pregnant women, caregivers of those under 6 months and medical workers, which are all eligible for the vaccine.

Underlying medical conditions include respiratory and cardiovascular disorders and serious illnesses.

There is a clinic scheduled for Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Xenos Christian Fellowship, 1390 Community Park Drive.

Additional clinics are scheduled for Monday, Nov. 23 and Tuesday, Nov. 24 at Veterans Memorial, 300 W. Broad St.
