"We saw a really big sequin trend over the holidays and it sort of continued on now through spring," said Maren Roth, owner of Rowe Boutique. "It's in a great kind of light, fun way and you can wear it from day to night."
The color trends for spring are pale, 10TV's Andrea Cambern reported Friday.

Champagne and beige are popular, with navy and stripes coming back into style.
When it comes to dress length, short is in, and so is the tunic, Cambern reported.
"When I go shopping, I hold up a dress to my reps and say 'Is this a dress or is this a top?" Roth said. "They can tend to be a little bit mini, but the great thing about mini is that they can really be called a tunic."
When it comes to accessories, jewelry is still chunky, but made of clear Lucite. Belts are big, providing definition and shape.
The wedge is also back, and so is the strappy sandal with a bit of an edge, Cambern reported.
"A lot of open toe. We're seeing the gladiator again kind of in a new light," Roth said. "They're calling it a basket style shoe."
And for those of you who loved to keep it casual - some good news - jeans are back in style in a big way this spring, often paired with a ruffle blouse.
