Jeff Sheerer
Photographer
He said the constant variety of stories is what drives him in his job, along with the people he gets to meet and the places he sees.
Sheerer, an Ohio University graduate, has several favorite stories he has enjoyed covering at 10TV. Among those he covered included Ohio Gov. George Voinovich's trade mission to South America in 1999. That same year he followed Ohio State's men's basketball team in the Final Four.
In 2000 and 2001, Sheerer covered military visits to Ohio troops stationed in Europe and the Middle East. Then in 2002, Sheerer fondly remembers shooting the Ohio State football team's national championship win in the Fiesta Bowl and the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village Golf Club.
When he's not working, Sheerer enjoys traveling, genealogy, sports, reading, home projects and raising his two children.
